In the 1940s a girl named Sadako Sasaki was very sick, suffering from severe
radiation exposure from the Hiroshima atomic bomb.
While she was in the hospital, her friend Chizuko advised her to make paper cranes, since if she reached 1,000 she could make a wish. Of course, hers would be to be cured of the disease that afflicted her, but she also wanted the war to end.
The little girl could not finish her goal, since she died after making the number 644, but her friends continued with the ‘mission’ that would become known in the entire world and that would symbolize peace from that moment.
In honor of the girl a statue was built where she is seen with a crane in her hand. Every August 6, children from all over the country and the world send their origami as an offering and respect.

Are you a broker, do you hire subcontractors?
Ever Moving Truck is not a broker and don’t hire any contractors. Ever Moving Truck is a professional moving company who will transport you from your old location to your new one.
Besides, in Ever Moving Truck we only use our own trucks, and the only people that you as a customer will commit to are the employees of Ever Moving Truck.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, Ever Moving Truck is fully licensed, and your belongings are fully insured.
We have a license and we are insured by the US Department of Transportation and the Texas Department of Transportation.
Do you offer packing services?
Yes, we offer packing services. Please talk with our agents in our calling center about the options and prices.
What are the payment methods available?

Should I pay before of after my moving are unloaded at the time of delivery?
Full payment is required upfront.
If something gets damaged during my move, can it be replaced by Ever Moving Truck?
Ever Moving Truck is only responsible for replacing or repairing damaged or missing items if you choose to purchase full value protection for an additional cost. If you have chosen Free Basic Coverage, we only cover 60 cents per dollar for local moves.
When will the movers arrive?
That will be determined by our call center agents. You will receive a call at least 24 hours before your move from the Customer Service Department with the time frame.
Will poor weather impact the moving process?
The weather can affect the move in case the roads are blocked due to severe weather conditions.
In all other cases, the weather should not affect your move, since we have professional staff that is properly trained, prepared and fully equipped to handle all the moves during any inclement weather.
How long will the move take?
It depends on the size of the move. Our Call Center Agents can give you a better estimate based on the details of your move.
How many people will there be?
Depending on the size of your work, our teams range from 2 to 8 people.
Do I need to be at home during my move?
Ideally, we encourage clients to be present during the move so that you can monitor the process, if you cannot be at home, we ask you to designate an adult representative you can trust, to help you monitor your moving (friend, relative, assistant).
Should I empty the drawers of my dresser?
Yes, to avoid damage we recommend emptying all drawers.
Can I pack liquids?
Liquids are prohibited in trucks for safety reasons.
Can I pack using plastic bags?
We can move luggage or canvas bags, but plastic bags break and break easily and tend to bounce around the truck, which makes them not ideal for moving.
Can I send my jewelry and important documents along with my household goods?
We recommend not packing important documents or items such as personal financial information, car keys, insurance policies, cash, prescription drugs, licenses, birth / passport certificates, jewelry of extraordinary value, etc. You can take them with you or have a friend or family member send them separately. These items are NOT covered by Ever Moving Truck.
Is there an extra charge to wrap and protect furniture?
No. We always wrap and protect your items with blankets and shrink wrap before placing them in the truck. It is always part of our service.
Should I tip?
Tips are not mandatory, but always welcome.
How big is the truck?
Our trucks are between 18 ‘and 26’ long, depending on the size of the move.
Can I go in the truck with the moving people?
No, this is not possible for security reasons.
